1、 Mechanical malfunction
Vibration and noise
Reason: Bearing damage, cavitation, poor assembly (such as different shafts between the pump and the prime mover, insufficient foundation stiffness, or piping stress).
Solution: Replace bearings, optimize suction conditions, check and adjust the alignment between the pump and the prime mover.
Bearing overheating
Reason: Excessive or insufficient lubricating oil, deteriorated lubricating oil, unit misalignment, vibration.
Solution: Adjust the oil level, replace the lubricating oil, check and adjust the alignment, and check the rotor balance.
2、 Performance malfunction
Insufficient flow and head
Reason: impeller damage, seal ring wear, insufficient speed, valve not fully opened, suction pipeline leakage, pipeline blockage, medium density mismatch, device head mismatch.
Solution: Replace the impeller or seal, increase the speed, fully open the valve, seal the leakage, eliminate blockages, recalculate or replace the motor.
Pump cavitation and driver overload
Reason: Poor inhalation conditions and inconsistent medium characteristics.
Solution: Optimize inhalation conditions and check the characteristics of the medium.
3、 Shaft seal failure
Leakage at the sealing point
Reason: Improper selection of packing, wear of shaft sleeve, damage to mechanical seal end face, or scratches on auxiliary sealing ring.
Solution: Replace the packing or shaft sleeve, and replace the mechanical seal.
4、 Other faults
The pump cannot start
Reasons: power supply issues, tight packing or impeller blockage, rusted or bent pump shaft.
Solution: Check the power supply, loosen the packing or remove blockages, rust or replace the pump shaft.
The pump cannot suck up oil
Reason: There is air inside the pump body, air accumulation in the inlet pipe, loose closure of the bottom valve, and air leakage in the vacuum pump packing.
Solution: Fill the liquid and remove the air, check the check valve and pipeline, and replace the oil seal ring.
The pump cannot produce oil
Reason: The pump body and suction pipe are not filled with oil, the dynamic oil level is lower than the oil pump filter pipe, and the suction pipe is broken.
Solution: Eliminate the fault of the bottom valve and fill it with oil, lower the installation position or wait for the oil level to rise, repair or replace the suction pipe.
Excessive power consumption
Reason: The oil pump speed is too high, the main shaft is bent or not concentric with the motor, the head is not appropriate, it sucks in sediment or blockages, and the bearings are damaged.
Solution: Reduce the speed, correct the spindle or adjust the relative position, select a suitable lift oil pump, clean mud or blockages, and replace bearings.

Regular inspection: Conduct visual inspection, performance testing, vibration and noise detection on the pump.
