The common faults of BB-B pump are mainly divided into mechanical, performance, shaft seal, and vibration noise categories:
1、 Mechanical malfunction
Bearing overheating: It may be due to lubrication issues or unit misalignment. The solution is to adjust the oil level, check the alignment, and replace the bearings if necessary.
The pump cannot output liquid: common reasons include air in the pipeline, unopened valves, or high head. Fill the liquid, open the valve, or replace the pump with a suitable head.
2、 Performance malfunction
Insufficient flow head: may be due to impeller damage or insufficient speed. Need to replace the impeller, increase the speed, or clean the blockage.
Unable to suck oil: mostly due to air in the pump or leakage of the bottom valve. Oil should be filled, check the check valve and pipeline seal.

4、 Vibration and noise
Vibration: may be caused by bearing damage or improper assembly. Need to replace bearings, adjust alignment, or reinforce foundations.
Noise: Often caused by bearing oil shortage or impeller friction. Oil should be added for lubrication, clearance should be adjusted, or the motor should be inspected.
5、 Other faults
Excessive power consumption: may be due to high rotational speed or spindle bending. Need to reduce the speed, calibrate the spindle, or clean the blockage.
The pump cannot start: After checking the power supply, it may be due to the packing being too tight or the pump shaft being corroded. Need to loosen the packing, remove debris, or calibrate the pump shaft.
